103 South Gay Street, better known as the Appraisers’ Building, is a historic property previously owned by the federal government. It was gutted and converted into 137 apartments with accompanying amenity spaces. Because of a floodplain requirement, this design build electrical project started with new BGE ductbank through the building to raise the new service equipment out of harms way. Followed by meter centers on every other floor, unit wiring, new fire alarm and communications systems.
