The Hyatt Place is a nine story, 208 room hotel with a second level parking garage and a street level lobby and retail space. To keep the building from being classified as high rise, a floor to ceiling height of eight feet was designed. Building information modeling (BIM) was utilized to assure all of the MEP systems fit in the space allowed. To speed up rough-in and save costs, Hirsch Electric utilized our in-house prefabrication shop to prefab wiring, boxes and devices for the hotel rooms.
